This location is having a picturesque view of the jungle, majestic mountains , lovely waterfalls, valley, hand away clouds from the middle of the opaque forest , the home of hundreds of birds who welcome you by their cadenced songs .
Property is located at distance of 15 kms from Nainital and spread over 12 bigha in the middle of the forest and can be reached after easy downhill walk of 7 minutes from the road.
We are having only wooden cottages as Wooden houses are more ecological alternative than houses made of traditional brick and concrete. These wooden cottages are made from natural, non-petroleum materials that are recyclable and biodegradable and are also considered ‘ecological’.
We have introduced Scandinavian Modern A-Frame Cabins In The Middle of the Woods inspired by the Victorian British era. We have very spacious (400 Sqft) and luxurious structure with Huge Deck and attic within for 360 degree view of valley.
Octa Cabins, – Octagon houses were a unique house style briefly popular in the 1850s in the United States and Canada. They are characterised by an octagonal (eight-sided) plan, and often feature a flat roof and a veranda all round. We have all glass octa for 360 degree jungle view and skyglass to watch the stars and rains within the cabin, it’s 400 Sqft with large deck and kingsize bed.
Double Decker cabins – Double storey beautiful and contemporary log houses with covered portico with waterfall view and trees within the balcony give you a mesmerizing memories. A large 344 Sqft area with kingsize bed and Attic with all side glass view to enjoy the nature.
Restaurant – “The Hungry monkey” As the name depicts itself, this is for the fresh food lovers. We serve the farm fresh veges to jungle riped fruits, berries and juices.

About Pangot Nainital
Although just 15 kilometres away from Nainital, Pangot definitely deserves more than just a day trip away from the bustling town. Nearly 580 species of birds have been recorded in Pangot, considered among the finest birding areas in India.
Lammergeier, himalayan griffon, blue-winged minla, rufous-bellied woodpecker, rufous-bellied niltava and khalij pheasant are just a few of the winged wonders that can be spotted here.
The numerous perennial & seasonal creeks are home to a variety of flora and fauna including Leopards, Himalayan palm Civets, Leopard Cat, Barking deer (Kankar), Sambar deer, Himalayan Black Bear, Red Fox, Yellow-throated Himalayan Marten, Yellow-bellied Himalayan Weasel, Himalayan Goral, Hanuman Langur, Rhesus macaque, Red Muntjac, Goral, and Himalayan Stoat.
Mixed forests dominated by thick ban-oak, pine and rhododendron cover most of the area and surrounding hills. A large part of the landscape is characterized by dense vegetation with numerous perennial creeks and streams that crisscross the area. Life here in Pangot is tranquil and quiet, offering a perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of city life.
